Racing Santas & Lighting of Breckenridge
The race of the Santas followed by the lighting of the town tree in Breckenridge, Colorado!
On December 3, 2011, over 100 Santas race up and down Main Street as a fund-raiser for Adopt an Angel, helping families in need. Followed by cocoa, cookies, and caroling at the Red, White & Blue Fire Station. Then, the processional to the Blue River Plaza, with Santa in his horse-drawn carriage, escorted by dozens of Bernese Mountain Dogs and hundreds of townsfolk. And finally, the lighting of the Town Tree!
