The race of the Santas followed by the lighting of the town tree in Breckenridge, Colorado!
On December 3, 2011, over 100 Santas race up and down Main Street as a fund-raiser for Adopt an Angel, helping families in need. Followed by cocoa, cookies, and caroling at the Red, White & Blue Fire Station. Then, the processional to the Blue River Plaza, with Santa in his horse-drawn carriage, escorted by dozens of Bernese Mountain Dogs and hundreds of townsfolk. And finally, the lighting of the Town Tree!

Pro Cycling Challenge Party at RE/MAX

The USA Pro Cycling Challenge is the most demanding bike race ever held on American soil, with racers experiencing breathless altitudes, day after day. The race is on the level of the Tour de France, bringing the high speeds, danger and adrenaline of professional biking to elevations over 2 miles high in some of the most picturesque terrain in the world—the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
What a great excuse for a party - RE/MAX style! On August 27, 2011, Stage 5 went right past our office, and the finish line was 3 blocks away. So of course we invited our friends and clients to enjoy the race with us!

Just Like Lincoln Logs

Ever seen a log home being built? It’s like giant-sized Lincoln Logs!
They cut and pre-assemble the logs offsite at the log supplier’s yard, then the logs are transported to the building site on huge trucks.
John and Julie bought a vacant lot through us last year, and now they are building their dream log cabin! But, they couldn’t be in town for the exciting “log set”, so we took this video for them. Their builder? Brian & Karen Wray, Mountain Log Homes of Colorado. The first portion shows the garage under construction, and the second portion shows the main house under construction.

Snow in June in Breckenridge, CO

Snowfall in June! That is typical - we usually get a few inches of snow in early June, and that's usually the last snow until late September. We live just outside Breckenridge, Colorado. Our house is at an elevation of 10,700 feet above sea level. Fortunately, the snow melted within a day.

Breckenridge Snow Banks

My house still has tons of snow, in late March 2010! Video was taken 3/28/2010, and uploaded directly to YouTube, with my new iPhone 3GS! Love that thing.
We live just outside Breckenridge, Colorado. Our house is at an elevation of 10,700 feet above sea level. This is probably about the maximum height of snow for the season -- going forward, it will start melting faster than new snowfall accumulates. Spring, here we come!
